The Parents Television Council (PTC) has spoken out about Britney Spears's new single "If U Seek Amy" off her comeback album, Circus. The group is warning parents of its explicit lyrics, and urging radio stations not to play it.
PTC president Tim Winter said: There is no misinterpreting the lyrics to this song, and it's certainly not about a girl named Amy." Radio stations have already started circulating the single, which has been edited from the original.
The edited version changes Seek to See, which changes the ambiguous, controversial meaning of the lyric.
