Coca Coal claims that it's Vitamin Water is a 'healthy alternative' to sodas. Not so says the Centre for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI). The detail of their advertising is misleading by using words like 'energy' and 'endurance'.
CSPI also claims that Coca Cola is saying that their drinks may 'reduce the risk of illness and boost health'. CPSI is not happy about the amount of sugar in each bottle of VitaminWater either.
They claim it does nothing to reduce the propensity for obesity and diabetes. CPSI director for litigation Steve Gardner;'VitaminWater is Coke's attempt to dress up soda in a physician's white coat'.
