Stan Lee, the man who used to head Marvel Comics and gave the world Spiderman, X-Men, and the Hulk, has created a gay superhero named Thom Creed. He will be a gay high school basketballer who has yet to be revealed superpowers.
"It was only a matter of time before we had our first gay superhero. And if there is one man who can make him a success it is Stan Lee. There's a real buzz among comic book fans," said an industry insider.
In a recent interview Lee said that in the current economic climate the most needed superheros are Foreign Relations Man and Economist Man. He went on to say that he saw some of Mr Fantastic in Barack Obama.
